The next morning, We had no clue what to do but we needed to think quickly. While we were eating breakfast, Kylie was deep in thought. Maisie said: Kylie, Are you even eating?” Kylie looked like she snapped out of thought and kind of light headedly nodded. Then she looked at Mom and Dad , Kylie said: “Mom, Dad, do you have a large amount of money in one of your bank accounts? Because even though dinosaurs are everywhere, ATMs and banks are still open…”

Mom and Dad looked up from whatever they were doing and Dad said: “We still have about 1 million dollars (or something like that) left, we thought we’d use it for an emergency. But this is an emergency. So yes we can.” I randomly looked at the clock and realized something, I gasped. I yelled: “THE ATM CLOSES IN 15 MINUTES, AND SO DOES THE BANK! WE NEED TO GET MOVING!!”

Owen somewhat bravely declared: “I’ll go” I argued: “So am I” Owen demanded: “No way you have to stay here, You have to stay safe” I looked stubborn and uttered: “Nope!” Owen looked annoyed but he also looked like he gave up: “You’re not going to let me leave until I let you go right?” I nodded and smirked.

Owen sighed and we both got our jackets and boots on and ran as fast as we could. Luckily for us the nearest ATM was 2 meters away from the hotel. It took us 2 minutes to get ready and 5 minutes to get there. We grabbed our briefcase before leaving and put a bucket load of cash into the briefcase. We rushed back to the hotel before a dinosaur may have trampled us.

When we got back into the hotel we huffed and puffed, and gulped as much water we could drink before getting bloated. When we cooled down, We began to research the nearest area with a load of trucks to carry the injured dinosaurs and other stuff. The dinosaurs in our city were the last ones in the world, so pressure was pretty heavy on us. Anyway the first thing we bought was a new car because our car was destroyed (Because of the carnotaurus). And we bought a load of trucks, ropes, and other dinosaur wrangling stuff. While we drove back downtown, I was wondering why we were doing it instead of trained professionals. It was weird yet cool.

When we got there the News Crew was recording us! I was excited for what was waiting for me in the future. Later, Me, Kylie and Maisie also joined in with gently roping the dinosaurs. Just as we finished roping our 5th dinosaur, me, Kylie and Maisie were holding onto a rope of a very untamable T-Rex and unfortunately we weren’t aware of this, so when we finished tying the rope around the T-Rex , and without warning, it began to race across the city!

We were kind of floating along because surprisingly the T-Rex was fast. I shouted while we had air blowing right into my mouth: SWING THE ROPE LEFT AND RIGHT REALLY HARD THEN HOLD ON TO THE ROPE AND JUMP ONTO THE DINOSAURS BACK! I was shouting because it is a little hard to talk when you’re trying to rodeo a runaway T-Rex . We swinged left and right, and landed on the right T-Rex’s back. We rode and somehow kinda tamed it to slow down by slowly racing her hands across its skin and rode around the city. When we came around to our parents, we jumped off and kept hold of the rope and gave it to Owen who was shocked. Even though our parents were chasing the T-Rex everywhere they could not catch it, because that was one fast t-rex. By evening all the dinosaurs were back where they belonged, in the containment unit.

We still stay in touch with Owen, Claire and Maisie till this day. We gave the leftover money to Owen and Claire to buy a house and they thanked us. We are besties with Maisie now. We also won a little prize for kind of saving the world, because if we didn’t save the city, they would spread all over the world, as the scientists predicted . Cool right? The wood from the cabin is now being used for an outdoor playhouse for Maisie. We try to facetime them every evening. We also take turns visiting each other every Saturday (if we’re not busy). And life has just been great. But something I constantly wonder (and bug my parents about) is: If Jurassic World couldn’t handle a bunch of dinosaurs will the containment unit be able to? Anyways, this is Amethyst/Gem (Gem is MY nickname.) Signing off for now!

THE END!

A message from the author:

This is my first book for Life finds A Way *imaginary series* (Basically at the time I wrote this I hadn’t even seen the trailer but knew that dinosaurs had spread across the world because of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s ending.) It took a while but I very much enjoyed it. Stay tuned for the real book three (I might create a book similar to this after watching Jurassic World: Dominion, which by the way is in theaters June 10th 2022) and possibly more books from the imaginary series! Check out my books before this and more! That’s all I have to say for now. Byeeee!
